Refund and Cancellation Policy

Last updated:

You can cancel Plus at any time, and canceling is as easy as buying. Apple and Google handle refunds for purchases made in their stores. For purchases on the web, which Paddle sells as our merchant of record, we give a full refund on request within 14 days.

Where did you buy Plus?

In the app, go to Me → Plus. It shows your plan, when it renews and who bills you, for example "Billed by Apple".

Cancel Plus

Canceling stops your next renewal. You keep Plus until the end of the year you've paid for, then your account moves to Free. Everything you've tracked stays, and every tracking feature stays free.

Deleting the app doesn't cancel a subscription. Deleting your ZomaLog account cancels a web plan automatically, but not an App Store or Google Play subscription, so cancel those in the store first.

Plus Lifetime doesn't renew, so there's nothing to cancel. The 14-day Plus trial never charges you, so there's nothing to cancel there either.

Refunds

App Store

Apple handles all refunds for App Store purchases. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We can't issue App Store refunds ourselves.

Google Play

Google handles refunds through its own process. See Google Play's refund help. You can also email us at [email protected], because we can refund Google Play purchases directly.

Web (Paddle)

Paddle sells Plus on the web as our merchant of record and handles payment, tax and refunds.

To ask for a refund, email [email protected] from your account's email address or the one you used at checkout. The refund goes back to your original payment method through Paddle, and your bank may take a few days to show it. You can also contact Paddle at paddle.net.

If ZomaLog shuts down

We'll give you at least 90 days' notice by email and in the app, and you can export your data throughout. If you bought Plus Lifetime within 3 years before the shutdown, we refund the unused months pro-rata, wherever you bought it. If you pay yearly on the web, we refund the unused months of your current year.

Plus Lifetime means Plus for as long as ZomaLog operates. The full definition is on our pricing page and in our Terms of Service.

What a refund or chargeback changes

A refund removes Plus from the account it was bought for. Your diary and data are never touched. If you dispute a charge with your bank instead of asking for a refund, Plus is removed the same way. We only close accounts over a dispute when there's fraud.
